Spa park + landscaped garden

An island of tranquility, a green oasis opens up to the one who comes from the lively Old Town of Bad Salzuflen and reaches the Kurpark along the Gradierwerke. A few minutes' walk from the town center is a 10-hectare park: colorful flowerbeds, wide lawns with beautiful solitary plants, water basin, river and lake, quiet zones and walks.

The Kurpark has its own charms in every season. In winter you can find flowering shrubs such as the magic nut and admire the structure of the solitaire woods. In spring, large islands with early blooms such as crocus and winterling, scilla and perlhyazinthe, narcissus and tulip can be found on the lawns under old trees. They are replaced by the rhododendron and azalea blossoms and later by lush summery perennials and plantings. In late summer, the large dahlia plants are a feast for the eye, and in autumn the foliage of native and exotic shrubs and trees shines in the most beautiful colors.

From the changing of the seasons, the watercourses and lakes and above all the temple of the Leopold-Sprudels in the middle of the Kurpark, which has become the landmark of the city. The Kurhaus and Kurtheater from the 19th century, as well as the lobby, the concert hall and the most modern and highly-fashionable Gradierwerk
